Today this mama sent her baby off to 3rd grade, and my heart wasn’t quite ready. 💙📚

As I start another busy week, I’m also thinking about all the parents, students, teachers, and school staff beginning a brand-new school year. Mountain Maid Cleaning wishes every child an amazing first day, every teacher a successful year, and all the parents a little extra grace as we watch our babies grow way too fast.

Big News! ✨

I’m so excited to officially announce that Mountain Maid Cleaning is now Mountain Maid Cleaning & Property Management LLC!

About four years ago, I took a leap of faith and purchased my aunt’s cleaning clients as a single mom with a little girl and a dream. I never imagined where that decision would lead me.

Since then, this little cleaning business has completely changed my life. Even though my passion will always be cleaning, along the way I’ve grown a love for short-term rental property management & the hospitality industry. Today, I’m proud to say I successfully manage 3 properties in addition to providing cleaning services.

I’m also excited to share that our new website is now live! 🎉 A huge thank you to Tommy Greer for bringing my vision to life and creating my beautiful website! If you need any digital marketing done, he is your guy! He was super easy to work with and made the whole process seem effortless!

Over the last few years, this community has blessed me in more ways than I could ever put into words. My clients have supported my small business, cheered me on through every milestone, trusted me with your homes, and helped Mountain Maid Cleaning grow into what it is today.

Because of your support, I always want to find ways to give back to the community. After seeing several post on our local pages asking for help with school supplies, I’ve decided I’d love to help families in our community who may need a little extra help with school supplies for their children. Every child deserves to walk into their classroom feeling confident, prepared, and excited for a new school year.

Today I turned in my cleaning supplies to just be “mama” during work hours so I could go with my girl on her school field trip to the Tellus Museum 🧽➡️🩷
And it just made me realize how thankful I am… for this business I’ve built, for my understanding clients & homeowners, and for my amazing girls who step in when I need to step out. I truly love what I do, but I love being their mama the most. Thank you to my wonderful clients and the best team of girls for allowing me to be present in my children’s childhood. Their childhood is something I’ll never get back, so I’m forever grateful I get to soak in moments and memories like these with them! ❤️

Let’s talk soap scum… the buildup, the discoloration, the endless spraying of every cleaner you can think of and it still doesn’t budge. The scrubbing, the time it takes, and how defeating it can feel when you’re not getting the results you hoped for.

That’s where we come in!

After about an hour of hard work (and a lot more than just a little “elbow grease”), we were able to get this shower looking so much better.
