Blue Jay Pro Wash will be re-opening from our winter hibernation and we would love to get your home added to our schedule. We will begin cleaning in April and will be doing some equipment repairs and maintenance over the next couple weeks to get ready for the spring season.

In complete transparency this may be the last season for Blue Jay Pro Wash depending on my kidney health so I am hoping to make it a successful Spring and Summer and hopefully go out with a bang. We will have to play it by ear next year if my health allows but for now we will be working again this April and hope to serve our community and get those houses nice and clean!

A couple weekends ago I got the opportunity to represent Blue Jay Pro Wash as a part of Allan Homes Unlimited, Inc. team with the one and only Allan Waschak. For the second time now I repelled down a 12-story building for my favorite athletes!

As a former coach and supporter of Special Olympics Howard County I encourage others in the community to support these athletes and consider doing the Polar Bear Plunge with me this winter as a part of team Blue Jay!

Blue Jay Pro Wash is on the hunt for sales people!

I know the market has had its ups and downs and maybe that has impacted your business/slowed you down a little bit.

Well Blue Jay could use your help! We are looking for 100% commission based sales people who are looking for a Flexible opportunity to make some money!

We pay 10-15% commission on closed out jobs. You have flexibility to market or “hunt” for jobs as you wish… but if you are comfortable door knocking homes or businesses I could see this being an opportunity to bring in any where from about $500 to $1000+ a week as the calendar fills up and we are finishing multiple jobs a week.

Happy August! As someone who loves summer I hate that we are already here, but the start of school is right around the corner and Blue Jay Pro Wash wants to do something to help the schools, teachers, and families in need.

As a back to school promotion Blue Jay will donate 10% of the job proceeds to the local community school of your choice. The hope is that we can present a check to several local schools to assist with materials for teachers and to help pay for lunches for students in need of assistance. If you wish to participate just make sure to mention the back to school fundraising drive and what school you would like the funds to go to and we will honor anyone who books in August even if the work isn’t done until September.

Blue Jay Pro Wash will always give back to our community and support students and teachers!

Blue Jay Pro Wash has an immediate opening for a technician/helper up to 40hrs+ a week when schedule is full (2-4) jobs a day. Up to $20/hr plus bonus/commission plan.

MUST BE:

Hard worker- shows up on time and ready to work. Most days start 8-9am and end when we finish 2+ jobs. Want to help grow Blue Jay and their role as we grow. Wants to run a crew in the future and manage others. Need someone reliable that will show up and work hard! Can’t run and build a business with someone that isn’t reliable and doesn’t need to be micromanaged but looks for ways to do more and grow.

Physically Capable- we work in hot weather and pull hoses, carry ladders, get on roofs, move plants and furniture.

Personable- we interact with customers a lot and network to grow the business so must be comfortable doing so and professional/presentable. No drinking or drug use permitted during work hours.

Trainable- we use professional equipment that if used wrong can be dangerous and also damage property. Must be able to learn how to run and operate all equipment safely and able to drive a truck & trailer when needed. Safety is a major priority and using the right cleaning tools and techniques when cleaning.

There is a lot more to the job but that is a good start of what we are looking to hire. Must be 18+ and have transportation to and from Blue Jay in Ellicott City. Must have clean background and drivers license. No drinking or drug use during working hours.
