Today marks the start of National Mosquito Control Awareness Week.

Mosquitoes have been a threat to public health for generations, but today’s solutions include mosquito surveillance, public education, source reduction, and mosquito control efforts that help protect our communities.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing information about mosquito prevention, mosquito-borne diseases, and the work happening across Sacramento and Yolo counties to help keep residents safe.
