Even had a happy customer from Montreal Canada.
He said he was on his way home to Montreal from Baja California and stopped and spent the night in Elk City. He found his way to the Spray Zone car wash to wash his truck. My son Zach is now managing the car wash for me. He does a good job making sure everything‘s in top shape!

Thanks to the Elk City Police Department and Officer Robert Chaney. The new 4K, high def. security cameras that I installed last fall paid off. A few weeks ago a person pulled into the vacuum area, unscrewed and stole one of my LED lights above a vacuum cleaner then proceeded to drill out the key slots on the locks on my vacuum cleaners attempting to break into them. Fortunately he did not get into the money he just ruined the locks. I had to cut them off and replace them. Thanks to the cameras we were able to get a tag number. Officer Chaney worked on identifying and arresting the suspect. He is now in jail.

After the recent snow and ice many vehicles are covered with a white road film that the city sprays on the roads. It can be difficult to remove. We recommend that you scrub your vehicle, including the roof, from top to bottom and rinse it thoroughly. Some customers are going over their vehicles with just soap spray, then a quick rinse, and it does not remove it all. Thoroughly washing, scrubbing, and rinsing well, from the top to the bottom is very important. If you still have dirty-soapy water on the roof when you drive off, it will run down the side of your vehicle and streak it. Many taller suv’s and pickups can be difficult to see and-or reach the roof for a thorough cleaning and rinse. That white film can be tough.

For our safety and yours, and after years of having an old and low quality camera system, we just installed a new,high definition 4K security camera system with continuous recording and remote viewing. The picture and quality is exceptional. We can easily read license plates and good facial recognition. We are well lighted at night. The wash water is hot and the soap is foamy! We accept cash and credit cards. Swipe or tap your card. Wash it yourself by hand, or use our touchless automatic carwash.

We have now installed tap-to-pay card readers on all our self serve hand wash bays and on the automatic carwash! If you have a chip card it should greatly increase acceptance and efficiency and start the wash time faster, versus the magnetic strip card. You can also scan the tap reader with your iPhone if you have Apple Pay, Google pay, etc. You can still swipe it in the magnetic strip card reader if needed. Even with using the tap, you can still add more time with the push button on the Swiper during the wash cycle, when you hear the last minute warning beeper, without having to let time run out and then activate it with your card, again. Just push the button and release it to add one minute-per push. Just watch the large display timer above you and it will show you how much time you’re adding while pushing the button, and then how much time you have to wash. Also at the end of your wash cycle when the time goes to zero, it will display how much is charged on your card. Come try it out! Would love to see you! The Spray Zone carwash is OPEN!
After six long weeks of very hard work, we are finally 100% open. It took twice as long as I anticipated. But it was worth it. A big thanks to my son Zachary, who worked hard and help me with all the work on it. I don’t know if I could’ve done it without him! We installed a new water-softening system,  new spot free rinse system, new water heaters, new high-pressure pumps, hoses, spray guns, new foam brushes, new foam brush pumping unit, new presoak pumping unit, wiring, plumbing, new large digital display timers, and many other parts that are not seen, except by me. The new digital display timers have very large numbers and letters, and are much easier to see than the old ones!
Thank you for your patience. They say, good things come to those who wait. I hope you enjoy it!

Just an update on our progress for the Sprayzone Carwash.

Our new equipment install is slowly coming along. It has been a tremendous amount of work. We have been working seven days a week since we started it about 3 weeks ago.
It has taken longer than anticipated, as I figured it probably would. I hate that we have been closed so long now! Although, our automatic carwash is now going again, as we have the new plumbing and new water softener installed and back in service. The self serv hand- wash bays are not finished yet. That is the biggest majority of the equipment that we are replacing.  Also, our vacuums are completely rebuilt and back in service. Hopefully, in 1 or 2 more weeks everything should be going again.
