Easy day of mowing yesterday until I got home to do my yard. After nearly completing my Grasshopper zero turn mower suddenly stops on a hillside and will not move. I hop off and go the the rear and belt fragments are everywhere. Never before have I have a belt get obliterated (drive belt). Fortunately it happened at home so I was able to pull it to the garage with my small tractor and hurry to the parts store before they closed. Also damaged my harness that goes to my clutch.

WOW it was extremely hot yesterday and after mowing seven yards and having walked them I was ready to stop. Make sure you take in plenty of water, take breaks and wear a cap to cover your face. During super warm days I wear a long sleeve shirt that wicks perspiration and not let the sun hit me directly to stay cooler.

Only a few more months and it will be time break out the mowers. Can you believe how wet this fall and winter season has been.

Did not see yards coming back so well after the drought. Looks like mowing gonna be going on a little longer and to make matters worse leaves have barely fallen.

Not a whole lot left of yards really sad as most have turned brown and crunchy.

Had some time yesterday to install my spreader on the back of my lawn tractor. Had to cut out a hole on the rear plate to insert the square stock and weld pieces to support the weight. Now to connect the wiring. Very pleased with the results.

I have been saying this for a few months now is it ever gonna dry up just for a few days. Got a feeling spring will be here before you know it.
