My name is Emily and I am the mother of a year and a half old boy who had troubles latching and was jaundice which caused me to have to pump every 2 hours for several weeks and boy was every drop needed. Not only was I getting my milk supply slowly in but being very exhausted I spilled several ounces of milk during this time trying so hard to get my milk production going. After pumping for almost
3 months every 2-3 hours during the day and 4 at night I was finally able to not have to worry as much because the jaundice finally went away and I had created a stash of milk. At that point I decided I had enough pumping because it was so much work cleaning everything (later on figured out easier ways), I just tried getting him to latch with out a shield and he took to it like he always was fed from the breast. During those first few months I really wished I had some lactation cookies not only because I needed to get my supply up but I was always hungry especially at night and would eat granola bars next to my pumping station. I created my business to help other mothers because I know its not easy producing milk and it is not easy to bake cookies let alone take a shower with a baby. I hope that my cookies will not only help with production but satisfy your hunger during those late night feedings and give you more time with your little one because time does fly! They are made with oats, flour, sugar, butter, brewers yeast, flax seed, eggs, baking soda, salt, and vanilla.
