Gregg’s Pool Works (Contractor Lic - #836056) is a one stop shop for all of your swimming pool needs. We carry a wide variety of chemicals, brushes, nets, and cleaners; along with toys, lounges, spa products, outdoor décor, pellet grills and accessories. Our prices are budget friendly and we offer “good, better, best” choices in our pool maintenance department. We have everything you need for the perfect backyard and pool. We offer FREE computerized water testing so you can check your chemical levels on a regular basis. Not only is it important to keep your pool water balanced for healthy swimming, but it can also help extend the life of your pool equipment. Water samples should be taken 12-18″ below the surface from the deep end of the pool while the pool is circulating. and collected in a plastic container. Complimentary water sample bottles are available at our retail store upon request. Our parts department is fully equipped to replace those “needed” parts for pumps, cleaners and filters; including bags, o-rings, cleaner parts, etc. If for some reason, we don’t have your part in stock, we can order it and in many cases, have it for our customer the very next day. For our energy minded customers, our showroom includes variable speed pumps and controllers; including an operable pump. Gregg’s Pool Works is open 7 days a week. Our trained and knowledgeable staff can help you find all you need to keep your pool sparking clean all year long. We strive to provide value, quality and service to all of our customers.

Ghosts are scary. Another Sacramento summer without a pool? Terrifying.

We put together five backyard horror stories for Halloween. Some of you may recognize the plot a little too well.

The pool chores that eat up every Saturday. The pump that starts screaming Friday at 6 p.m. The water that’s suddenly a suspicious shade of green. And a chilly fall evening spent thinking, “We really should’ve bought that hot tub.”

Luckily, this is our kind of scary.

We build pools, take weekly pool chores off your hands, and fix equipment that’s making noises it definitely shouldn’t. Our store has pool supplies, parts, free water testing, and people who can help you figure out what you actually need. And yes, we have Hatana hot tubs for anyone ready to retire the “it’s too cold to go outside” excuse.
