Day four of this Green to Clean, and you are all going to be disappointed with us and the progress on this pool. We put a cleaner in yesterday, to pick up the dead algae, but it got stuck in the corner, bounced around, and didn't do much. We did a filter cleaning yesterday, and we changed the cleaner out today. The filter band was leaking. So, we opened it up today. Even though the water looks worse than yesterday, you can see, at the end of the one video, the filter did pick up quite a bit of dead algae. Hopefully the progress will be substantial by tomorrow.

Day three of this Green to Clean. The water is now clear enough to see the bottom. Didn't find anything dead, but there were quite a few items at the bottom. V**e pen, three dog toys, two solar lights, and an empty giant bottle of cheesy puffs. Not too happy about the the bottle of cheesy puffs being empty.

Day two of this Green to Clean. Quite a bit of progress in just 24 hours. Probably not a great idea to get in yet, but at least the mosquito larve are all dead. When we netted some of the debris off of the bottom, we felt some large objects. The water isn't clear enough to tell what they are, but hopefully it's nothing dead.

Follow me on the progress of a chemical Green to Clean service. I promise this is going to be the most exciting thing you will see all of 2026. I think this pool was producing 99% of the mosquitoes in San Diego.
This is the first day of the Green to Clean process. We cleaned the filter, got the equipment working and running 24 hours per day, and added chemicals to kill the algae. We also got the autofill working. The water level should be at the proper height by tomorrow . Check back tomorrow to see the progress.

This pool is this dirty every week, even with a cleaner in it. I'm about to pay for all of the trees to be turned into firewood.
