Well this goes back to. PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. A company installed a riser without properly sealing the riser to the tank. That allowed roots to grow between the riser and tank then blocking the inlet pipe. This caused it to back up and flood the basement with sewage. We removed the roots today. We will be going back to perform the repairs to seal this riser properly.

This is why it’s so important to have your outlet dug up at the time of pumping. It allows us to inspect the precast sanitary t for deterioration. This was repaired with a pvc t and filter. Plus we added a riser so it never has to be dug up again.
