Seven Floors Affected. One Coordinated Response.
When wind-driven rain caused significant water intrusion at a multi-story hospitality property in Destin, Florida, guest units across seven floors, along with select common areas and administrative spaces, were impacted.
Phoenix National Disaster Response mobilized to begin water extraction, moisture mapping, and structural drying. With elevators initially unavailable, crews carried equipment up the stairs to reach affected units.
Beyond addressing the immediate water damage, the team implemented a targeted mitigation approach designed to preserve costly kitchen and bathroom finishes, limit unnecessary demolition, and reduce avoidable reconstruction costs.
From detailed moisture assessments to strategic drying and remediation planning, the response focused on protecting the property while minimizing additional disruption.
Complex losses require more than a quick response. They require the right approach.
