With the freeze finally backing off, quick heads up for homeowners and property managers 👋
If you had your driveway or concrete shoveled and ice melt put down recently, now is the best time to rinse that salt off. De-icers don’t just disappear — they sit in the concrete, keep pulling in moisture, and that’s what leads to flaking and pitting over time.
A simple rinse helps now, and once things dry out, sealing the concrete can make a big difference going forward. It helps keep water and salt from soaking in, makes ice easier to remove next winter, and reduces long-term damage. Now is not the time to pressure wash if you have ice melt, the top layer can still be softened from the moisture, we need to remove the salt and let everything dry out first.
We’re helping customers clean up and protect their concrete as we come out of freezing temps. We’ll be running around town rinsing off standard 2/3 car driveways for $75 and taking measurements so we can give accurate quotes for sealing afterwards. Get your neighbor to wash theirs off and we’ll take $25 off each driveway. If you want to get ahead of it before spring rains hit, feel free to message me — happy to answer questions or take a look. 👍
