Today is World Drowning Prevention Day and as a team that spends every day helping families enjoy the water, this one is close to our hearts. 💙

We wanted to take a moment to share a few reminders from the Lifesaving Society Ontario that are worth passing along:

👶 When swimming with little ones, stay close enough to reach them at all times. If you're not within arm's reach, you've gone too far. Drowning is fast and silent — it can happen in less than 30 seconds.

🔒 A four-sided pool fence with a self-closing, self-latching gate is one of the most effective safety tools available.

🛟 Keep rescue equipment, like a life ring or reaching pole, accessible near your pool at all times.

🏊‍♂️ Learning to swim is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your family. It's never too early — or too late — to start.

❤️‍🩹 Knowing CPR can make all the difference in an emergency. Many local organizations offer certified courses.

Water brings so much joy to so many families and a little awareness goes a long way toward keeping everyone safe. Share this message so we can all be a little safer this summer! 🌊💙

You may have caught the demo process of the old concrete pool we tore out earlier this season to replace with a new fiberglass — safe to say the finished product was worth it! We can't wait to see what this beauty looks like next year once the lawn/landscaping has a chance to come in! 🌿

The granite-toned pool shell shows its true elegant grey on the shallow steps and benches, but check out what happens in the deeper water as the depth naturally filters the light into a rich aqua-teal. Every pool does this a little differently and it never gets old. 😍

Not every pool arrives by crane! 😄

In fact, while fiberglass has become popular in recent years, vinyl inground pools are actually the foundation our company was built on. 💪

This style build remains our most popular today. They are almost entirely customizable and there’s a real craft to it. The crew digs, frames the walls, pours the concrete bottom, and then the liner needs to be laid just right. It takes a little more time than a fiberglass drop but the end result is just as beautiful! 💦

Here’s a look at the first couple stages of one of our current builds - stay tuned for the finished product! 👀💙
