Here is the comment I made in the group. Couldn't get it to paste under my other post: 30 years in the biz, my mother and grandmother were also cleaning ladies, and I have friends that own cleaning companies through the US. National standard is what I stated above (inside of appliances are not cleanness as part of a regular cleanng, but can be scheduled to be cleaned at another time, and of course for an additional charge). I have tons of recommendations and 14 current, very satisfied clients, whom can't believe the quality of work I do. Like I said, if u wouldn't bust ur butt for free in ur profession, u should never expect anyone else to. If they choose to, they are allowing u to take advantage of them, and if u can live with that, fine. Personally I couldn't.

A conversation happening in a mom's group I belong to here on FB has me quite perplexed, angered, upset etc. The original poster asked if mom's whom use cleaning services, have the insides of appliances cleaned, included in the cost. Here is my (second) comment under the thread. Please take this into consideration when u are hiring someone to clean ur home. We are professionals in OUR field, just like u are, in whatever field u work in. Would u do extra work, back-breaking, hard work, for free? Would u want someone to take advantage of u like that? Would YOU be comfortable taking advantage of someone like that? Something to think about:
