Michigan Energy, Michigan Jobs

Michigan Energy, Michigan Jobs Statewide coalition focused on transitioning Michigan to 100% clean energy. Offensive language and hate speech will not be tolerated.

Michigan currently imports its nearly 60 percent of its energy from other states and countries, sending billions of dollars — and the jobs they create — out of Michigan to import coal from other states and oil from the Middle East. Using more renewable energy and energy efficiency will help us build a clean energy industry right here in Michigan, so that Michiganders can buy Michigan energy, and w

e can stop exporting our money and our jobs. Using more wind and solar energy will reduce pollution and give Michigan cleaner and healthier air and water, protect the Great Lakes, reduce asthma and lung disease, and ultimately save lives. NOTE: This page offers a public forum to discuss renewable energy and energy efficiency in Michigan.
