Just from this professional cleaners point of view:

I have been cleaning professionally for 20yrs and in the last year I have witnessed so many homeowners in shock at how long it takes me and my girls to clean a home v. some of the newer cleaning services….
1st off every home is different no matter the sq footage so for me to give a price I have to see for myself what has to be done in order for me to get your home to a stage that I am comfortable with as far as being able to maintain your home on a reg wkly bywkly or monthly schedule .

So Billy Bobs house and Sally Sues house may be the same in Sq feet but one has been maintained better than the other so right off the price is going to be different.

So when I hear there’s a cleaning service that’s giving the same price on the same sq ft of $125 per home a red flag goes up. Then I go behind this cleaning service and clean because the homeowner is not happy with the final result.

The homeowner informs me that the cleaning ladies where there for maybe 1 1/2 hours cleaning their home! I almost passed out because I’ve cleaned this very same home for a couple years now, so when she said that it caused me to lose a little confidence in myself and my cleaning abilities, but I soon found out the reasons why it took such a short time to clean is BECAUSE THEY DIDNT CLEAN OR ATLEAST NOT A LEEANN KINDA CLEAN.

My findings:
Didn’t pick up not one item and dust

Didn’t sweep under not one piece of furniture

Didn’t move the chairs to mop

Didn’t clean ceiling fans not even once out of three cleanings

Didn’t do the base boards

Didn’t do window seals

Didn’t do the appliances

Didn’t polish anything

Used myers cleaning product on everything

Spot cleaned mirrors trust me it shows when a cleaner just spot cleans every single time.

Didn’t wipe the light switches or door k***s

The list goes on and on that I noticed had not been done in this home that I had been cleaning and carrying for for around 3 yrs!

I mentioned that it took these ladies 1 1/2 hrs!

It takes me 4 sometimes 5 hrs to clean this home!!!!

That’s with 2 cleaners! And it’s not a deep clean every time but I bet your sweet behind that it is clean and CLEANED PROFESSIONALLY!

I think that for me it’s just degrading for cleaning companies to list as professional when they are by far not professional.may sound mean but truth is truth!

I will post for homeowners ways you can check your cleaners little things you can do where u will know if the cleaning was actually done. Or if your paying for services not done.
