🚫 “Flushable” Does NOT Mean Septic Safe! 🚫
Think those flushable wipes are harmless? Think again. 👇
📸 This picture was taken from a septic system we serviced. What you’re looking at is a massive buildup of wipes and debris that should never have been flushed.
Even wipes labeled:
❌ Flushable
❌ Septic Safe
❌ Sewer Safe
…do not break down like toilet paper.
Unlike toilet paper, wipes stay intact for a long time and can:
💥 Clog inlet and outlet baffles
💥 Block sewer lines
💥 Damage pumps and floats
💥 Cause septic backups into your home
💥 Lead to expensive repairs and more frequent pumping
A good rule of thumb:
🚽 Only flush the 3 P’s: P*e, P**p, and (toilet) Paper.
Everything else belongs in the trash.
We’ve pulled countless wipe “monsters” out of septic systems over the years, and every one of them started with products that were marketed as safe to flush.
💰 Save yourself the repair bill.
🛠️ Protect your septic system.
🗑️ Throw wipes in the trash, not the toilet.
