State public health officials have elevated the risk for Eastern equine encephalitis to high in six communities and to moderate in five more communities.

Do not try and treat nests like this on your own! This is a large, very active Bald-Faced Hornet nest. They are aggressive hornets and will chase you if agitated!
Call us for safe, effective treatment options.

The dry, hot weather has allowed hornets and wasps to flourish and create amazing nests! Although we think they are very cool in many ways, certain hornets/wasps can be aggressive. This can be dangerous in higher traffic areas especially if someone in your family is allergic.
We haven't seen Asian hornets in this area but we have seen plenty of European hornets and cicada killers. Additionally, bald faced hornets and yellow jackets are active and mean.

Don't try to treat these on your own-we have solutions that will not agitate the insects and will safely eliminate the nest. Just call!

The round holes underneath the damaged wood were created by carpenter bees. The damaged wood was created by woodpeckers seeking a meal! This is just a small area of widespread damage on a lovely pavilion.
