Let’s help these babies find a home!

If you can’t adopt or foster please share this so we can help together by finding them a home!

🚨 17 DOGS URGENT FOR SPACE 🚨
DEADLINE: Tuesday 10/6 at 6 PM!
Prince George’s County, MD

After a brief lull in the urgent lists, we’re back — and 17 dogs now need our help.

That lull came on the heels of a devastating week when we lost five great dogs simply because no one came for them. Rescues are full. Fosters are few and far between. And adopters have to be ready to make a commitment for the lifetime of a dog.

But none of that means we stop fighting.

We’re fighting for these 17 — and we’re fighting in honor of the five we couldn’t save a few weeks ago. That loss still hurts. But it also fuels us to do more, reach farther, and fight harder for the dogs in front of us now. ❤️

ADOPT. FOSTER. RESCUE. PLEDGE. SHARE.

You do not have to take a dog home to help save one. A share can put the right dog in front of the right person at exactly the right time.

✨ PLEASE NOTE: The shelter can be a stressful and scary place, and a dog’s behavior here may not fully reflect how they’ll blossom once they feel safe and decompressed at home. These are all third-party accounts of the dogs’ behavior, so please do your own due diligence.

‼️ LAST CALL — LESS THAN 12 HOURS LEFT ‼️

9/15 at 12 PM - 20 dogs remain without a plan

20 DOGS are still at risk at Prince George’s County Animal Shelter, and there has been very little traction. 💔

These dogs are not urgent because they did anything wrong. They are urgent simply because the shelter is overcrowded and space is desperately needed.

🚨 THEY NEED AN ADOPTER OR RESCUE COMMITMENT TODAY — TUESDAY, SEPT. 15.

🏠 ADOPTERS: Please head to the shelter between 11 AM–6 PM today. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, TODAY is the day.

🐾 FOSTERS: Rescues are looking for your help. Offering to foster can be what allows a rescue to say YES to one more dog. Apply to the following:
Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue Inc - Raunchy or Landon
Koch's Corsos & Rescues - Sabrina
Furever Love Rescue - Leah, Storm or Juanita

🙏 RESCUES: Please take another look. If you can make room for even one, these dogs desperately need you.

It is not looking good right now — but we cannot give up on them. They are so deserving, and they need every share, tag, foster offer, adopter and rescue we can find in these final hours.

PLEASE SHARE. PLEASE TAG. PLEASE HELP US GET THESE 21 DOGS SEEN. ❤️‍🩹
