The dahlia is a generous flower. Give it warm soil, full sun, good drainage, and a little support as it grows β and it becomes one of the most abundant, slow-opening blooms in the garden.
It doesn't need forcing. It needs its conditions met. And then it opens, fully, in its own time.
We're not so different. We come into our fullness not by being pushed, but when the conditions are there β warmth, light, room, a little support.
This is the thinking behind Dahlia β the candle that named a belief we'd been pouring into every candle since 2024: that an ordinary evening is worthy, and that scent is the sense that holds memory.
A soft intoxication β orange blossom and tuberose, a breath of citrus, musk and amber beneath. Named not for how the flower smells, but for what it knows.
Scent holds the memories we can't even remember until we do.
Dahlia is the first fragrance of AprΓ¨s β the name for the why beneath the candles you already know. Same hands, same Duncans Mills shop.
