I BUILT THIS BUSINESS. Nothing about G Sharp was handed to me. I didnāt inherit a business, a list of customers, expensive equipment, or a name that was already established. My father never said, āHereās the business, go run it.ā What he gave me was much more valuableāhe taught me how to detail, how to work hard, and how to have the discipline to keep going when things get difficult. He gave me the foundation, but I had to build everything else. I started with what I had and built G Sharp one car, one customer, and one dollar at a time. Iāve worked through slow weeks, cancellations, mistakes, long days, and moments when I questioned everything. I invested my own money, upgraded my equipment, improved my skills, earned my customersā trust, and built my reputation from the ground up. There was no guaranteed paycheck and nobody coming to save the business if things got hard. If I wanted G Sharp to grow, I had to make it happen.
And the biggest reason I keep pushing is my kidsāmy four-year-old and my one-year-old. Theyāre why I get out of bed at 5 oāclock every morning and go to work whether Iām tired, stressed, motivated or not. I want them to see what it looks like to build something from nothing and understand that the life Iām trying to create for them came from hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and refusing to quit. Iām proud of what my father taught me, and Iāll always give him credit for putting this skill in my handsābut G Sharp is something I took that knowledge and built for myself. Iām still building, still learning, and still hungry. Iām not doing this just to say I became successful. Iām doing it so one day I can look at my kids and say, āEverything I built, I built it for you.ā
