Three years ago, almost to the day, we cleaned this gorgeous roof tucked away on a wooded property in Powell Ohio. I stopped by to quote an exterior cleaning service we do to prep the house and trim for painting. From the ground, the roof looked so good that I couldn't help but launch the drone to see how our roof cleaning held up from a bird's-eye view.

Look at these side-by-side shots. The first image shows the algae streaks that formed on the north-facing sections and around the skylight. Fast forward three years in the second photo - those shingles still look clean and uniform across the entire complex roofline.

We love our cedar roof clients in the Muirfield Village community. Here's a great example of the typical condition of a cedar roof we're called in to restore. The picture of the cedar roof covered in every type of bio imaginable was taken in 2019, right before we worked our magic on it.

The heavy moss and lichen act like sponges, holding water against the roof. Wet wood breaks down and rots. Not good, obviously.

The other picture is the same roof taken this year. We're doing a bio-wash and oil-infusion treatment to help keep the shakes hydrated, so they stay healthy and can continue to protect everything beneath them moving forward.
