We're just going to call them Fred and Ethel! Just walked right in. Later, we had to close the doors so they would move on.

Newest customers. Muscovy ducks just dropping in to get their feathers fluffed. Very friendly. And yes, they DO want to be fed.

Zippers! Lots of talk lately about zipper repair and/or replacement.
There are many types, sizes, and colors of zippers. Zipper replacement is mostly straightforward. Find your size(or one you can accept), find your color(or one you can accept), and install the zipper. Mostly fairly easy, but not always. Did you know many zipper colors are actually one off died to match the garment. Nearly impossible to match these perfectly.
Like most things, zipper repair can have many variables. Most of the same problems exist with zipper repair as replacement. By far the most common repair is slider(or pull) replacement. Sliders sometimes wear out, break, or simply come off because the "stop" may not be there or is not sufficiently large to prevent the slider from going over it. Included in the types of zippers are non-closing(think jacket), closing(think pant or dress), normal slider, two-way slider, and reversible slider. Zipper types also include plastic(ski jacket), nylon(coil, look like tiny teeth), metal(brass, aluminum, nickel, antique). Then there are zipper stops, top and bottom in various colors. Most zipper repair is not hard but most of the time fairly tedious. Here are pics of just some of the zippers and repair parts we keep on hand. Obviously we don't have every thing in every color that you could ever need, but we think we keep a pretty good selection.
Who would have ever thought so much was involved in a simple zipper repair or replacement?

For the last several months we have been transitioning to a new POS system. This has been a large undertaking but we feel in the long run it will benefit both us and our clientele. With the implementation of this new system we now have the ability to both text or email those customers that would allow us to input their cell phone numbers or/or email addresses. This would enable us to make minimally obtrusive contact for questions, information, and promotions.
One of the other major improvements is the installation of a new payment/card processor. This pinpad is at least the fastest one we have ever seen, with transaction approval normally in the 1 to 3 second timeframe. We now accept nearly all payment methods and cards, including contactless (or tap and go), if your card, phone, or watch is NFC capable.
You may also register your android or ios device by installing the CleanCloud app. This will give you the ability to view your pending charges and even pay them via the app once the order is processed and ready.
