Kiln dried firewood? What is that? We get this question a lot. We take our all-hardwood split firewood and dry it in a kiln for 2 weeks. In the kiln, temperatures reach in excess of 200 degrees. The result is not only a drier firewood but it is also pest-free. In turn it lights easier, burns hotter and cleaner with less chimney buildup, and little to no smoke! So for the ultimate fire pit and the most efficient heat in the winter kiln dried is the way to go!
