We send our condolences and are keeping the family in our prayers in this unfortunate times. This is one of the victims who didnt make it in the mass casualty incident the other night.

If you guys can donate to help their family or share and tag to help spread the word the family will greatly appreciate it.

"My cousin Yolanda Esquer tragically passed away in a car accident on her way home she was in the accident from Wilcox to Douglas a worker from the nature sweet (Tomatera) leaving four daughters behind her sister was also involved in the accident who is in critical condition at the moment and unfortunately Yolanda did not make it and we are kindly asking for anyone who can help donate for her Funeral Expenses

Meet Michael Bernal, owner and operator of Al’s Pools in Douglas, AZ - and BIPOC Loan Fund recipient! Michael named the business after his dad, Al, who taught him everything he knows about pools. “I wanted to be able to do something with all of the knowledge I gained throughout my childhood growing up cleaning pools with my dad.” Carrying on his Dad’s legacy, Michael is dedicated to making his clients’ pools an oasis for relaxation and connection.

After starting Al’s Pools in 2024, Michael has created a person-centered business, working with clients and tailoring his services to their specialized needs. Since receiving the loan, Michael was able to purchase equipment that has helped him get to the next level in his business and take on more clients. Now, he’s looking forward to the future, hoping to open a chemical store in Douglas next year and offering more pool remodeling services.

What does he love most about running Al’s Pools? “I’m able to make my clients happy, it’s great knowing they are able to jump in to a beautiful clean pool and enjoy their time with family.”
