We are looking to add two part-time employees to our housekeeping department. The hours will fall on a Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, never work weekends or holidays. Once trained these positions will come with a lot of autonomy, so we are looking for hardworking, driven and trustworthy individuals. There will be opportunity for growth within these positions such as full-time opportunities, management opportunities and growth to work in other aspects of the property management business.
Job description:
These positions consist of cleaning of personal homes, rental properties, and condo common areas. When cleaning any location, it is important to observe and report any maintenance needs or repairs. Cleaning requires a strong attention to detail. Meaning there can be no hair, food, or dirty item left behind. Along with cleaning, the equipment that is used must also be maintained by cleaning staff. The storage area for all cleaning supplies and equipment must be maintained in neat and clean order. Make note as supplies are needed so management staff can keep everything for cleaning stocked. Greenbriar will provide all that Is needed to clean a property including the use of a work vehicle during the work day. Any individual that wears the Greenbriar employee uniform must understand that they become an extension of our company. For this reason, it is of upmost importance to present oneself in a professional manner at all times until uniform is off.
Job requirements:
• Must be at least 17 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Cannot have been convicted of a felony.
• Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Open to taking direction and adhering to work safety, sanitary, and all other policies and procedures.
• Effective and consistent communication skills are very important.
• Must be capable of working effectively and efficiently when alone at a job site.
• A happy demeanor is favored. It is important to have a positive attitude towards residents, guests and any individuals you may run into during the work day.
• Must be able to lift/pull/carry at least 25 lbs. without mechanical assistance.
• Must be able to stand, bend, squat, and kneel as needed when preforming job duties.
• Must be able to work in tight spaces, tolerate dust and cleaning materials.
