This weekend was a special milestone for Crown Cleaning. π€
We had the honor of being trusted to clean the historic Wallace House in Sherman Hill, right here in Des Moines.
Being trusted to care for a home with so much history behind it means more to me than I can put into words. The Wallace family left an incredible mark on Iowa and our nation, and knowing that our business was chosen to help care for a small piece of that history is something I don't take lightly.
But this one felt personal, too.
When I was a little girl, my school bus used to drive past the Wallace Building near the Capitol every morning on the way to school. I remember looking forward to that part of the ride because I loved seeing our school bus reflected in those amber mirrored windows. It's such a small childhood memory, but one I've carried with me all these years.
Never could that little girl have imagined that one day she would grow up, build a business of her own, and that business would be trusted to care for a place connected to the very same family whose name she passed every morning.
Life has a beautiful way of bringing things full circle. π₯Ή
As I stood inside the Wallace House this weekend, I couldn't help but think about that little girl on the school bus looking out the window.
I think she'd be smiling pretty big right now. π©·
I'm incredibly grateful for every client who has trusted Crown Cleaning over the years. Every home, every opportunity, and every person who has supported this business has helped bring us to moments like this.
What an honor it is to care for a little piece of Iowa history. β¨
