Founded in 1961 by George Foley, owner of a masonry business, who built the first plywood portable toilets in the state of New Hampshire, for his men to use.
Even though he marketed the plywood toilets to the many contractors he did work for, his biggest boost to the company came when Anheuser-Busch hired him to provide the large number of portable units required to complete the const
ruction of its new brewery in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Triangle grew from this point, making it necessary for George to put his full attention on the portable toilet business. It was his goal to establish one of these environmentally safe and sanitary facilities on every construction site.
In 1973, Mr. Foley's daughter, Carol Chase, took over the operations of the business, making Triangle the first and only women owned and operated business of this type in the state. Under her management the business grew from the plywood units to the more conventional polyurethane units of today with a greater variety of products and services. Her goals were to expand the company into the private and public sectors, town municipalities and government, providing a top quality product, guaranteed weekly service and reasonable rates, while maintaining an environmentally safe product. Today the business operations and goals are carried on by Carol's two sons, Stephen and Mark and her daughter Pamela, who maintain the same high standards set by the two previous generations. Their dedication to customer satisfaction, experience and knowledge of the business is what sets them apart from other companies. Triangle has now expanded its services to include septic tank cleaning, installation of risers, baffles and filters. With the patronage of our many loyal customers, we look forward to continuing to provide a fourth generation of service in the near future.
