Hello Denver! Rain this week?
Pests love moisture, and after a few rainy days we usually start seeing more activity around homes.
A few things to keep an eye on:
🐜 More ants inside
Rain can push ant colonies out of the soil and closer to dry areas indoors.
🐝 More wasps around the house
You may notice increased activity around rooflines, decks, sheds, and patios after wet weather followed by warmer days.
🦟 Mosquitoes near standing water
Gutters, puddles, flower pots, and low spots in the yard can quickly turn into breeding areas.
A little prevention goes a long way this time of year.
– Empty standing water
– Check for small entry points around doors and windows
– Keep gutters draining properly
– Watch for unusual pest activity after storms
