Anyone else last-minute freaking out about what they want to be for Halloween? No? Just me?

That's okay. I think I had my AHA moment, and it was inspired by one of our clients' littles!

Every trip, I always leave some kind of surprise in her room, tucking in her stuffed animals, her toys having a book reading session, etc. Her mom always lets me know how excited she was to be visited by....

THE CLEANING FAIRY! ✨

Keep your eyes peeled for me spreading my cleaning magic this Halloween! 🥰

What are you and your littles planning to be this year for Halloween? Let us know in the comments!!

Before I became a business owner, one of the positions I held was a general manager in training at an extended stay hotel. This meant I got to oversee many things at once and one of them was making sure everyone was on task every day.

I was handing out assignments and let the custodian know we were going to need them to please mop the landings and vacuum the hallways. Everyone went to work and about an hour later, I was assisting customers at the front desk when the phone rang. One of the hotel guests was calling down to inform me that the custodian was mopping.....the carpets. 😳

It was on this day, I learned to never assume someone knew what I meant, and to show them step by step what is expected. This was over 8 years ago today, but was such an important lesson to learn early on. It also gives me a good giggle when I need it. 😅

If you value a cleaning service who is down to earth and takes the time to show their team members what is expected, then welcome welcome! We look forward to getting to know one another!

Raise your hands in the comments if this made you crack a smile!

As a business owner, it is important to focus on our own personal growth and to understand we don't know everything.

I take the time and responsibility to learn as much as I can so this company can be the best version of itself possible.

This latest read really got the wheels turning! 🥰

We listen and don't judge, duvet cover edition! 😅

About 3 or 4 years ago, I was cleaning for one of my first ever clients. She had a tiny house that I helped her with and the bed in there was up in a loft. She left the bedding for me, and I cleaned and made the bed.

I was up there STRUGGLING to put this mattress in the encasement. I was a little confused, because I had never seen one with buttons and not a zipper, and wasn't sure why they wanted two on the mattress.

I ended up mentioning it to her before I left and she looked at me puzzled. She said there should have already been one on there that they had already replaced. As we talked further, we both realized my mistake. 😂

The way I had to go back up there, undo the bed, take the mattress out of the duvet cover, and figure out how to put a duvet in this duvet cover. That in and of itself is a skill (iykyk) 😂

Thankfully my team gets to benefit from these stories and will never be bested by a duvet cover on my watch.

We offer professional cleaning services with a side of humanity.
