I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'd rather clean up after 30 guests that stayed 30 days than clean up after any number of guests with a 1 night stay. They put 7 people on the reservation. When we arrived to clean (an hour after checkout time) there was a BUS in the driveway. They were still in the house. It was a while football team and atleast a few wives/girlfriends. They used 25 towels. Not all of them were in the house any more. They threw away or took over 20 washcloths. Someone shaved an unknown body part in the bedroom leaving hair on the floor. Every room was covered in dry grass. We removed FIVE bags of trash.

Another laundry issue we run into often. The wash cloth on top use to be the same color as the hand towel its sitting on. Wash cloths are tricky. Buy white amf they get stained with make and self tanner in mo time. Bleach them and you drastically reduce their life span with no garuntee it will come clean. But other colors and they are easily bleached by things like toothpaste, acne medications, and skin brighteners. Wash cloths and hand towels most frequently fall victim but occasionally sheets can be affected too.

The joys of Air bnb laundry. All 3 of these kitchen towels were bought at the same time (actually same pack) 7 weeks ago. I know because I bought them. 1 looks nearly new, 1 a little rougher with a little bleaching on it, and one needs to be removed completely from use. We will pull it from guest use and add it to our stash of towels to use for particularly messy or gross cleans. I can garuntee you with 100% confidence that these towels did not come into contact with anything resembling bleach on our watch. Air bnb pricing can sometimes be a shock but owners unfortunately have to account for not just replacing linens when they reach their expected end of life but more often than not.... much much sooner.

As many of you may have seen i should have been at my infusion appointment all day. Unfortunately my meds didnt come in and I didnt know until last night. So instead I spent today catching up on air bnb laundry, sorting supplies, and honestly... napping. Apparently Ill get to have my infusion in 2 weeks.
