It’s been a busy few weeks here but we’re happy to finally update our community on one of our biggest investments over the last year. A couple of weeks ago we transitioned to Green Earth Cleaning solvent.

This makes us the ONLY Dry Cleaner in Volusia county that uses a non hazardous solvent. While our previous solvent was considered eco-friendly and environmentally neutral it still required Hazardous waste removal and was regulated by the EPA as a volatile organic compound (VOC).

Green Earth is silicone based and turns into sand and does not require hazardous waste removal. WOOHOO!!!

We’re not only excited to shift to this product for the environment but also for the safety of our employees and customers. We’ve had great feedback on the new smell and feel of the clothes so we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Hello DeLand. As many of you may know Mitchell’s Dry Cleaners decided to close their doors. There has been some confusion with their remaining orders. We’ve partnered with them and are helping them store the orders so folks can get their things as easily as possible. While we have most of what they have remaining we do not have all of them. We simply don’t have the space.

If you have an order through Mitchells please feel free to come by or give us a call so we can confirm if we have it. Some have been paid while others have not. Unfortunately if you still need to pay for your order we will only be able to accept cash or check so we can pass it on to Mitchells.
