Hi everybody! I wanted to share this post on my business page to get more exposure for the HUGS group I am part of.
HUGS is a volunteer group based in the Defiance area. We host a free book shop that travels to local food pantries and community meals, women’s and children’s crisis centers, and events where we can promote childhood literacy. Our “reading buddy” stuffies, cozy blankets, and reading resources are all part of our mission to grow literacy through a love for books!

🧸Seeking donations because we are growing!
💛In just a short week, HUGS has been embraced by several community groups who take care of our local families and kids.
☀️”Rays of Hope”, led by CHP Home Care & Hospice, is a retreat for children who have lost a loved one.
🥗The Summer Lunch Program, organized by Northwest Ohio community Action Commission, has also welcomed HUGS to take part in their good work.
📚We are grateful! Let’s promote reading and kindess for our local kiddos, together!
