I had someone call me yesterday about some water damage they have in their home. They called their insurance company and they told them to call a certain Restoration company who is their preferred provider. They did what they were told to do, and ended up waiting days for the Restoration company to come out. During this time the damage was just getting worse due it still being wet. After 73 hours mold will start to grow and then it's a whole different ballgame.
I informed them they could have called any Restoration company of THEIR CHOICE. Just because your insurance company has a big franchise that THEY prefer to use, doesn't mean that you have to use them, but they don't tell you that...... so just FYI if you do happen to have any water damage during this cold weather, just know that you can pick whoever you want to do the work for you and please don't let the damage just sit there for days waiting for someone to show up.

In case you didn't know,the Junction Cafe in Plainview is now OPEN FOR BUSINESS!! They're under new management and Jacquelyn Yates and her husband have busted their butts right along side us to get everything sparkling clean!! They did an awesome job on the dining room, you will definitely be impressed when you walk in the door. Not to mention the awesome food they're serving!! Let's all show our support for them and go get some delicious food!!
