1995 GMC 1500

Premier Coating Package

This slick 95 came by the shop recently after a fresh respray. The owner wanted the paint coated for protection of the newly painted surface and to make cleanup much easier. It was thought at first that this truck had a clear coat, but in fact it was repainted with single stage paint. Thankfully, Gtechniq Crystal Laquer coating is the perfect coating for single stage paint. This coating provides protection, essentially becoming the truck’s new clear coat. The tradeoff is lack of slickness. To combat this, EXO was applied as the top coat to provide the slickness and hydrophobics that every associates with a coating. C1 acts as the anchor point to which EXO is able to bond to. 🤓

Thankfully, we are equipped and versed in how to handle situations such as this. While single stage paint is uncommon these days, it can still pop up from time to time.

Toyota Land Cruiser

Elite Coating Package

This rugged looking Land Cruiser came in for a much needed cleanup, polish, and ceramic coatings.

Even rugged, off road cruisers need cleaned up and restored back to their former glory. As was the story of this vehicle. Lots of dirt, tar, and other buildup made the surface gritty and swirls and scratches left it dull. A thorough cleanup and polish was done to remove the buildup of dirt and reduce the imperfections in the paint. What was left was paint that was not only perfectly slick and smooth, but optically clearer with more depth. To protect this new finish, our top of the line coating Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra was applied to the paint. We also applied coatings to the front windshield and actually dyed and coated the faded black trim. Unlike dressing that are temporary, this process is a true and long lasting fix.

Beefy vehicle with tons of additions and now insanely glossy!

Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD

Two stage paint correction + Elite Coating Package

This farm truck came to us in need of a solid cleanup and polish. This truck sits outside all of the time so it needed a moderate cleaning and polish to get it back to how it was when it was new. Two stage paint correction as performed to remove swirl marks, oxidation, and etchings. This process also took the paint from dull/grey tone to glossy black with depth. To protect it and make it easier to maintain Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra was applied to the paint and body. In addition to the paint, we also polished and coated the front and windshield and coated all the exterior black trim.

Stacked 3 deep today. All three vehicles were previously coated and are back in for a detail, decontamination, and top off.

This process keeps your coating working as intended by removing contaminants that, over time, can build up on the surfaces and affect coating performance. We then apply a topper to act as a sacrificial layer to protect the coating and boost its performance until the next visit.

This is common practice no matter what coating you have installed. The difference is, the length of time you can go, and how much cleanup is needed between visits. That is where professional grade coatings really shine. Dealership installed or DIY coatings generally fail within the first few months of being installed and many times during our wash and decon process. They are not chemically strong or thick enough to hold up to everyday driving. The coatings we use will continue to work for years with proper care and handling.

We stress how you have to still wash your vehicle once it is coated. Every single customer gets the same aftercare instructions. Like everything, you have to maintain your car and therefore coatings on it.

Hyundai Pallisade Calligraphy

Signature Coating Package

This new white on white Pallisade came in for our top tier offering. Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra for the paint, body, and wheels. Additionally, the glass and interior was also coated for lasting protection and easy maintenance. This car will see a lot of road time for having protection and the ability to easily clean it was a priority for my clients. Best coatings in the market will make this an achievable task.

Thursday workflow. Booked another coating for October yesterday which takes our availability to 2 more coatings. Still have ONE date left in September after combing over my schedule.

Pallisade is gone and heading to southern Illinois today!

1995 GMC 1500 is done and leaving this afternoon. Received a full wash, decon, polish and two step coating via Gtechniq

Brand new Silverado 2500 is in today and tomorrow for my Signature Coating Package. I spent the first hour and a half spraying and scrapping off a heavy tar issue on one half of the truck. It is now ready for polish prior to full lineup of coatings.

It is kind of crazy to see the size difference of these two trucks and just how massive the current era of vehicles have become.

Harley Davidson

This brand new Harley came to the shop for a cleanup, polish, and coatings!

Love the color, for obvious reasons. After the polish and coating though it really kicked up the gloss and depth to the paint several noticeable notches. Coated in Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light.

Two very different vehicles in the shop today.

1995 GMC 1500 with fresh paint is here for a polish and coating.

Brand new 2026 Kia Pallisade Calligraphy is in today and tomorrow for my Signature Coating Service.

Past and future in one. Only thing that would have made today more interesting is if I had booked one of the many brand new Sierra Denali Ultimates for comparison over the last 30 years.

Booked a brand new Sierra 3500 AT4 yesterday for coatings and still have a couple more to follow up with. Again, if you need something done to get ahold of me ASAP!
