Kim Vu is the female victim in the tragic shooting incident that occurred on Saturday 8/17/2024 in Hiram. She is currently in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound to her shoulder. She is also a small business owner, mother of 2, and has been a citizen of Paulding County for many years. She owns The Nail Gallery in Dallas. She is originally from Vietnam, where her family still lives.
To know Kim is to love her. She loves doing nails and chatting with all of her customers. Kim is a gentle and kind soul who always greets her customers with a smile. She takes pride in her work and the effort she has put into establishing her business.
Unfortunately, the events that unfolded that Saturday night left her home damaged and her livelihood threatened. Her injuries have left her unable to work and her house will require repair and restoration. She will be enduring a long road to recovery and needs support from her community while she heals and rebuilds her home, business, and life that has been tragically shattered.
Kim is requesting help to cover expenses such as rent at her business, medical costs, insurance deductibles, mortgage and bills at her house, and other incidentals required for everyday life.
In addition, Dallas Nutrition has offered to accept donations at their business found at 365 Paulding Plaza, Dallas, GA 30132.
While Kim appreciates the offers for meal assistance, she likes to eat and cook her own authentic Vietnamese food. Once she is out of the hospital, she may be open to prepared authentic cuisine from the Vietnamese community.
Hopefully we can come together as a community to help support her while she is recovering. She appreciates everyone’s thoughts and prayers. All flowers and cards left at her nail salon have been delivered to her at the hospital.
