Dry cleaning vs. Laundry:
Dry cleaning uses an environment friendly, government approved solution: Exxon 2000. It is a gentler way of cleaning clothes. Silk, linen, rayon, spandex, wool, ... basically anything "expensive" would be dry cleaned.
Laundry is the traditional water washing method. It uses a washer and a dryer.
Also, everything in dry cleaning is hand pressed and detailed, where as, in laundry, all the shirts go on a Sankosha machine.
