💦 Watering the Gunite — It’s More Important Than You Think!

Once the gunite is sprayed, the work isn’t over. One of the most important steps in building a quality pool is properly curing the gunite.

We keep the gunite wet during the curing process to slow down moisture loss and allow the concrete to hydrate properly. This helps minimize shrinkage and cracking while allowing the gunite to develop the strength it was designed to have.

It may look like we’re just watering a pile of concrete… but this is where quality matters. 😎💦
