At this moment there is a poll in the Best of Barron County and we would appreciate all the support we can get under the Best Garbage/Trash Hauler category! We do our best every day to bring quality service and we pride ourselves on our work! I think the only prize for this is “Bragging Rights” but we would still absolutely love to win it!

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Reminder 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, all of us at R Local Sanitation want to take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We also want to remind our customers that we WILL be running trash pickup as normal on Monday, May 25th. Please have your garbage out by your regular pickup time.

We plan to run all routes as normal tomorrow, but depending on how the weather develops there may be some delays.

Our drivers will adapt to whatever the weather dictates to keep everyone safe while staying as productive as possible. If any routes need to be shifted or adjusted, we will send out a message right away.

❄️ Winter Storm Update ❄️

Hello everyone,

A winter storm is expected to move through our area this weekend, bringing a significant amount of snow. While it’s still too early to know exactly what road conditions will look like on Monday, our plan is always the same — we intend to run our routes and pick up everyone’s trash as scheduled. 🚛

As Sunday evening and Monday approach, we will continue monitoring the weather and road conditions closely. If there are any changes or delays for specific routes, we will keep everyone updated right here on Facebook and through route-specific messages.

❄️ Winter Weather Update ❄️

Hi everyone,

The past couple of weeks have brought some very icy road conditions. We want to apologize to anyone whose trash hasn’t been collected due to these conditions. The safety of our drivers and the community always comes first, and unfortunately some roads are simply too icy for our trucks to safely travel.

If your road is currently unsafe, here are a few ways to help make service possible:

Road treatment:
If your road is maintained by a town or township, you may want to contact them about sanding or salting. If you live on a private road, arranging treatment can make a big difference.

Cart relocation:
For dead-end or private roads that are especially slippery, placing your cart at the main road can help. If you’ve been missed recently, you’re welcome to set out a reasonable number of extra bags next to your cart for pickup.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these winter conditions. We’re doing everything we can to keep service running safely.

Due to deteriorating road conditions, we will be ending routes early today to ensure the safety of our drivers and the public.

If your pickup is affected, make-up pickup information will be sent out shortly via email message, and attempting a phone call to those that don’t have email.

❄️ Snowfall Service Reminder ❄️

With large amounts of snow currently falling, we ask all customers to please help ensure safe trash pickup by keeping containers and driveways cleared of snow.

For the safety of our drivers and the community, our team is advised not to risk injury or accidents due to snow and icy conditions. If containers are blocked or inaccessible, service may be delayed.

Saturday service alert:

Road conditions are still treacherous . One of our drivers witnessed someone slide off the roadway near him, so we are reassessing the situation. If we are unable to continue routes we will not be charging extra for excess trash next week at your regular pickup.

🚨 Weather Service Update – Ice Storm 🚨

Due to the current ice storm and for the safety of our drivers and community, Thursday’s routes were suspended.

➡️ Customers impacted today:
Your trash will be picked up next week on your normal scheduled service day. There will be no extra charges for any additional trash due to this delay.

➡️ Friday customers:
At this time, we plan to attempt normal Friday routes tomorrow as originally scheduled, weather and road conditions permitting.

Each impacted customer with a valid email address were sent a notification, of those without emails I attempted to call, and unfortunately some accounts don’t have valid contact numbers! If you did not receive a voicemail or email, please take the opportunity sometime soon to update us with valid contact information so we can make contact on the rare occasion of a delay.
