✨ TIDY TIP TUESDAY ✨
Stop “wiping” your sink… and start actually CLEANING it 👇
A quick wipe-over might make it look clean… but it’s NOT removing buildup, bacteria, or grime hiding in all the details.
🧼 Here’s the RIGHT way to clean your sink:
✔️ Rinse first to remove loose debris
✔️ Apply cleaner (don’t skip this step!)
✔️ Let it SIT for a few minutes to break down buildup
✔️ Scrub the entire basin (including under the rim!)
✔️ Use a detail brush/toothbrush around fixtures & seams
✔️ Rinse thoroughly
✔️ Dry + polish for that streak-free shine ✨
🚨🚫 Don’t forget—these areas NEED a hand/wet wipe (Swiffer dusters won’t cut it):
• Around faucet bases (soap + water buildup LOVES to hide here)
• Behind and under handles
• Sink overflow hole
• Edges where the sink meets the counter
• Cabinet faces & drawer fronts (yes… those drips add up 👀)
• Doors
• Bathroom Baseboards should ALWAYS be wiped
• Light fixtures (dust + moisture = grime buildup)
• Toilet paper holders & hardware
👉 If you’re not using a wet cloth + cleaner… you’re just moving dust around.
💡 A TRUE clean = breaking down buildup, not just making it look good for the moment.
