A little behind the scenes of what I’ve been working on lately 🧺✨

One of these was a folding-only order for a sweet mama who just needed a little help catching up 🤍
The other is linens I wash for local Airbnb properties to make sure everything is fresh, clean, and ready for the next guests.

Two completely different needs, but both about the same thing…helping take something off someone else’s plate.

Whether it’s:

🧺 Or making sure guests walk into clean, cozy spaces

Hi everyone 🤍🧺

I wanted to be open and honest for a moment.

Due to low interest and a few other factors, I’ve decided that for now I’ll be shifting my focus more toward my other businesses, spray tanning and my craft vendor events.

This wasn’t an easy decision. I started Southern Suds Laundry Co. because I truly wanted to help, single parents, busy families, mamas trying to keep up with it all, and even the elderly who just need a little extra support and kindness. That part of this meant a lot to me.

I’ve also recently been made aware of a business that isn’t local beginning to post and push into our area, which has made things a bit more challenging in an already small market. I truly believe there’s room for everyone, but timing and visibility can make a big difference 🤍

With that being said, I will be leaving this page up. If anyone finds themselves needing help with laundry, you can absolutely still reach out to me. I’m still here, just not actively posting or pushing the service for now.

Thank you to those who supported, shared, or even just showed interest. It truly meant more than you know 🤍

I’m Alissa, the face behind Southern Suds Laundry Co., a mama, fiancé, and someone who truly just loves helping people.

This little business didn’t start just as a way to make income…it started from a place of needing something that fit my life, my health, and my heart. Life has a way of slowing you down and shifting your perspective, and for me, that meant creating something that allows me to be present for my family while still serving others in a meaningful way.

I know how overwhelming life can get, the never-ending laundry, busy schedules, work, kids…it adds up quickly. And if I can take even one thing off your plate and give you a little bit of peace back, that means everything to me.

When you trust me with your laundry, you’re not just another order. I treat every single load with care, just like I would for my own family. Clean, fresh, neatly folded, and handled with intention 🤍
