🧽 Hello from Cresco Cleaning Company! 🧽
A lot of people know the business, but not necessarily the story behind it.
Sixteen years ago, when I was 19 years old, I was waitressing at a restaurant when one of my regular customers dining in asked if I wanted to make some extra money.
“Sure!” I said.
“Would you clean my house?” My customer asked.
Also sure.
The only problem? I had absolutely no idea how to clean a house. 😆
But I needed the money, so I showed up and did my best.
Then she told a friend.
Then that friend told another friend.
And somehow people kept hearing that I was cleaning houses… despite the fact that I was definitely figuring it out as I went, and truly not a clue how to clean anything!
About a year later, I had enough cleaning clients to quit waitressing and clean full-time.
Fast forward 16 years, and this is STILL all I’ve ever done professionally.
So I guess you could say I accidentally started a cleaning business and then accidentally fell in love with it.
These days, I’m a mom to two boys, owner of Cresco Cleaning Company, and still not very good at saying “no.” If you’ve ever wondered why I’m always busy, that’s probably why.
Thankfully, I currently have two wonderful employees who help keep up with all of you amazing clients. Because if it were up to me, I’d probably keep taking on work until I cloned myself.
Speaking of cloning…
Have you noticed the newest addition to our fleet? 🚐🚐
The silver van officially has a twin!
A huge thank you to Patty at Signs & Designs for matching our second van so perfectly.
And while we’re answering common questions…
“Why are your vans always parked in the Ace Hardware parking lot?”
Because The Shopper was kind enough to rent Cresco Cleaning Company a cozy office space! We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity and their support.
Living in a small town means word travels fast. Thankfully, most of that word has been referrals from happy customers. I don’t advertise much, and honestly, that’s because this community has always taken care of me.
So thank you.
Whether you’ve been a client for years, referred a friend, waved at one of our vans, or simply supported local businesses, I appreciate every bit of it.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have something to clean. 🧽✨
