We are raising money to apply for our non profit license to open a long term transition home for those wanting to get back on their feet. They will be giving the opportunity to have financial, career and family counseling as well and drug and alcohol counseling. For their stay with us they will be required to give 15 hours a week to the community by assisting low income homes of the elderly, disabled and family/guardians/caregivers of the disabled by removing and repairing, hazards such as clutter, soft spots in the floor, deteriorating porch steps, etc.. installing safety equipment such as assist bars, raised toilet seat, hand rails, etc.. and removal of health hazards such as harmful allergens, germs and bacteria.

People, depression is a real thing. The feeling of being misunderstood, the loneliness, the darkness it becomes unbearable. But you don't show it. You think that as long as you keep taking your happiness, the feeling will fade. But it consumes you, making it harder and harder to be around people, to leave your house.

Think about it next time you see someone laughing louder than everyone else, smiling bigger than normal, they are more than likely forcing it. Be their friend, check on them regularly you may be the light they need in their darkest hour.

Happy Easter!
Now that we are back and Rob is on the mend, we would like to thank everyone again for their support! Physically, mentally and financially, it was the best worst time of our lives.
