There is nothing more rewarding than being able to give back to our local community! These fabulous Smedley Street Elementary students each won a brand new bike today!
We donated these bikes to support their school’s PBIS initiative. PBIS stands for “positive behavioral interventions and supports” and is an approach schools use to promote school safety and good behavior. With PBIS, schools teach kids about behavior expectations and strategies.
Students at Smedley can earn positive behavior tickets by demonstrating good behavior and following expectations. This spring, students were excited to place their tickets into a drawing for a chance to win a new bike and helmet. Congratulations! What a fun way to kick off summer! ☀️
