You're NOT dirty! You're BUSY, you're taking care of kids, you're working, cooking, helping with homework and 50 other things. Don't be ashamed because you're house isn't spotless; I don't know many people's that are (including mine)! Be happy you are too busy doing other things and have priorities that don't involve scrubbing your bathroom floor for an hour. You have to prioritize, and getting your kiddo to his/her baseball game is more important than cleaning up that spot right this moment. Right now my sink is overflowing with dishes, the living room hasn't been vacuumed for over a week, I have at least 5 loads of laundry needing washed, 5 loads of laundry needing folded. There must be some type of food crumbs behind an end table from the lovely children, because suddenly there are ants....I could go on and on. Everyone is busy and it's difficult enough just doing the basics like working, picking up after everyone, cooking, laundry, dishes - let alone going into full blown cleaning mode. That's why I do this. I know how discouraging it is to know you need to clean, but making yourself do it instead of the next 50 things on your list. It's HARD and the longer we put it off, the more discouraging and harder it is. I know, I live it everyday too!
