​Yes, you are seeing this correctly. This isn’t AI-generated—this is a real picture from an actual snake call I handled this weekend! 🐍🚽

​Now, before everyone starts panicking, let me reassure you: This is an incredibly rare situation.

​Out of the hundreds of snake calls I’ve been on, I've only ever pulled two snakes from toilets. What do both of these rare cases have in common?

​Historic Homes: Both houses were built in the 1800s.
​Accessible Entry Points: Back then, they built houses with absolutely zero regard for holes leading from the outside in! 😂

​🐍 Toilet Snake #1 (Last Year)
That little guy likely found his way into the living area through a crawl space and just wanted a drink from the toilet bowl. The house was vacant, and when a real estate agent showed the property, they spotted the snake and quickly slammed the lid down, trapping him inside. (Check the comments for pics of last year's toilet snake!)

​🐍 Toilet Snake #2 (This Weekend)
This weekend's culprit had a trickier entry point: an unusual bathroom vent setup. After going back and forth trying to safely remove him for hours, I was finally able to force him back out through the other side. He was spotted safely outside the next day! I made sure to get the vent fully secured, and the customer is officially good to go.

​Stay vigilant, check those old vents, and if you find a surprise guest in your bathroom, you know who to call!

Yes, I got bit by a snake—right in the face! ...and arm..🐍💥

​This relocation call was going perfectly fine until I decided to take these aggravated guys out for a quick photo op. It was 8 PM, it was raining, I’m an hour and a half from the house, and boom... just my luck. 😭

​Now, before anyone panics, these are non-venomous rat snakes. But as you can clearly see, they still have teeth, and a bite to the face still hurts!

​Let’s use this as a teaching moment. I’ll be the first to admit: this was 100% my fault. I lost sight of the head, and the snake was already highly stressed and agitated from the capture and relocation process. When you handle wildlife every day, getting complacent for even a second can lead to a strike.

​A good reminder from Beaver Busters to always respect an animal's boundaries, especially when they are stressed out!

Holiday weekends mean double duty for Beaver Busters! 🇺🇸🦫 Working all weekend and right through Memorial Day tomorrow.

Funny story: I was at this exact same property on Mother’s Day removing a Black Racer. Today’s catch? A healthy Black Rat Snake. I always preach snake education, so I was thrilled when the homeowner correctly identified it! She gets an A+ for ID skills, even if she still wanted it evicted immediately. 😂

Brought the catch home to teach the boys the ropes on safe handling and how to identify our local Georgia snakes. There is nothing better than hands-on learning!
