President Donald J. Trump just announced that 275,000 illegal immigrants have been removed from receiving Social Security checks — money that YOU paid into your entire working life.

For years, Democrats told us it was a “myth” that illegal immigrants were collecting Social Security. They mocked anyone who questioned it. They swore it never happened. They called it a “conspiracy theory.”

Well, guess what? Trump just proved them wrong — again.

This is YOUR money. It’s supposed to be for American citizens who earned it — not for people who broke our laws to come here.

Every dollar stolen by an illegal immigrant was a dollar taken from a retired truck driver in Ohio… a widow in Arizona… a veteran in Texas.

Democrats opened the floodgates, gave out benefits like candy, and then told you there was “nothing to see here.”

They had no problem watching billions of YOUR dollars go to people who never worked a single day in this country, while warning YOU that Social Security might be “bankrupt” in a few years.

Trump is doing what career politicians wouldn’t dare:

✅ Cutting off taxpayer-funded handouts to people who aren’t citizens.

✅ Protecting Social Security for the Americans who earned it.

✅ Exposing the Left’s lies with cold, hard facts.

The same people screaming about “cuts” to Social Security are the ones who were perfectly fine with illegals draining the system dry.

The truth is, every illegal immigrant removed from the Social Security rolls is a victory for American taxpayers — and a promise kept by President Trump.

This is what putting America First looks like.
This is what I voted for.

Boone County Fiscal Court Meeting this Tuesday, July 9th - 5:30 pm
The Boone County Fiscal Court is holding a regular meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 9th, at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held in the Fiscal Court Room at 2950 Washington Street, Burlington. The meeting can be livestreamed here if you are unable to attend in person.

Tomorrow’s agenda includes a number of routine resolutions regarding fiscal matters, board and commission appointments, grant submissions, and bid awards for various projects. The full agenda can be found on the county website, but here are some notable items being considered:

Second Reading of an ordinance updating our license fee language around peer-to-peer (Uber/Lyft, etc) car sharing to be in line with the updated KRS language.
Zoning map amendment request by Newman Tractor for a special sign district. This would be to allow for a 95’ tall sign just off the Walton-Verona exit off Hwy 71. The planning commission unanimously approved this plan; however, the Fiscal Court still considers these applications. This is a First Reading of an ordinance approving this application, and public comment is allowed and appreciated. If you have any thoughts or input on this matter, feel free to attend and express your opinion.
Zoning map amendment request by “Jakes Farm” off of Richwood to put in apartment buildings and single-family homes on the 35 acres across from Hicks Pike, connected through the Sutherland subdivision. The planning commission had a split vote, recommending approval for this application to the Fiscal Court. This is a First Reading of an ordinance approving this application, and public comment is allowed and appreciated. If you have any thoughts or input on this matter, feel free to attend and express your opinion. Note, I have already notified county staff of my intention to push for a public hearing on this application due to the amount of public feedback and interest in this proposal. If the court votes to hold a public hearing, it will be scheduled at a future fiscal court meeting, followed by a 1st reading. In a public hearing setting, members of the public and the applicant can submit additional information on the record, in addition to the record composed through the Planning Commission. However, if the court does NOT vote to hold a public hearing, than the only opportunity for public comment will be tomorrow during the consideration of the 1st Reading.
