🔥 National Burn Awareness Week 🔥
At Madison Window Cleaning, we know that safety matters everywhere—at home, at work, and in our communities. National Burn Awareness Week (Feb 2–8, 2025) is a reminder that small precautions can prevent life-changing injuries in the spaces we live and work in every day.
Here are a few key safety tips to keep in mind:
⚡ Electrical Safety – Inspect power cords, avoid overloading outlets, and keep heat-producing appliances clear of clutter.
🔥 Kitchen & Breakroom Safety – Never leave cooking food unattended, turn pot handles inward, and store flammable items away from heat.
💧 Water Temperature Awareness – Set your water heater to 120°F or lower to prevent scald burns.
🚨 Fire Prevention at Home & Work – Test smoke alarms, replace batteries, and ensure everyone knows escape routes and emergency plans.
Most burn injuries can be prevented with awareness and action. Let’s work together to create safer homes, businesses, and workplaces—because safety starts where you live and work!
