OUR STORY
While my husband and I were very excited to have our first child back in 2010, nothing could have adequately prepared us mentally and physically for our new baby. Other than the lack of sleep, the anxiousness over learning to care for a new child was exhausting. Feeding our newborn every 2 hours while my body was recovering from a major surgery, I’ve found myself overlooking ot

her family and personal needs like doing the laundry, cleaning the house, doing the dishes and taking trash out. The same experience happened when our second child was born 3 years later again via C-section. It became more challenging as I have two little ones to attend to as my husband works full time. It was all definitely worth it, but one thing is for sure: Assistance with the household tasks would have eased the transition.
