Ever since we offered those two weeks of free laundry, we’ve said that when we win the lottery, we’ll make all self-service free for the community.

Still waiting on those numbers tho. :/

But we realized… we don’t have to wait to do something that makes us happy and makes a real impact.

So, starting now and going forward, we dropped our prices by a lot on all our machines. They’re now low enough that for some people, it may actually be cheaper to come here than use your own washer and dryer. Yeah. It’s crazy. And yes… it’s also fun.

Because life is hard enough.
Laundry shouldn’t be.

Detergent, ozonated water, good vibes, and our rocking kids’ area are still included—FREE.
Wash & Fold is still here if you want us to do it for you.

Newest machines. Biggest machines. Cheapest prices (by a lot). Stellar disco ball. Come by and check us out. 💙🧺 And share please. Because again, life is hard enough already. Laundry shouldn't be.

The original anonymous harassment review is gone, and Google has removed the wave of fake reviews that followed. Sadly, that also meant some of your amazing, genuine reviews disappeared too—we loved reading every single one.

Yelp is… well, Yelp. We’re hopeful things get sorted there soon.

The original anonymous harassment review has been removed, and Google has now taken down the wave of fake reviews that followed. Unfortunately, that also meant removing many of your wonderful, genuine reviews, which makes us sad — we loved reading every single one.

Yelp is… well, Yelp. But we’re hopeful things will get sorted out there soon.

Our hearts are heavy right now.

Adam's Washeteria is being attacked online because we stand with immigrants and human dignity. We built Adam's to be a sanctuary, a place for community, a place to have fun while doing laundry, where people from all walks of life can feel welcome and supported.

When we first opened, we offered two weeks of free laundry for our community. We are about to start a pay-it-forward campaign for people who need help with laundry, much like coffee shops use. Adam’s is about more than business — it’s about helping neighbors, building connection, and supporting everyone who walks through our doors.

But right now, part of our community is trying to hurt Adam’s because of our values. Someone anonymously posted in a local Facebook group criticizing us for our politics, and now we’re being attacked online.

In just one hour this evening, we went from 23 five-star Google reviews to 34 total reviews, with all 11 new ones coming from people who have never visited the shop. On Yelp, we now have 2 one-star reviews. These attacks aren’t about service — they’re about punishing us for the values we choose to stand for.

We won’t let this silence us. Adam’s will continue to be a place for connection, community, and inclusion. Yes, we are reporting the reviews. Yes, we are responding. And yes — this sucks. We need your support, your visits, and your voices to keep this space alive. Please visit us, in person or digitally, and show us some love. We'd really appreciate that.

We, at Adam’s, stand in full solidarity with the ICE‑Out protests and with immigrant families who are being targeted, harassed, and separated by federal enforcement. ICE is not welcome in our community, and we refuse to allow fear, intimidation, or raids in the spaces where we live, work, and gather.

Adam’s will be open on Friday because safe, welcoming spaces are more important than ever. Our doors have always been meant to be a sanctuary, a place of refuge, dignity, and belonging. Everyone is welcome here — except ICE. They are absolutely not welcome.

We’ll be giving out Know Your Rights info cards to help people stay informed and protected. Knowledge is power — come by, get information, share it with others, and help keep our neighbors safe. However you stand against ICE, we support you in that stand.

We refuse to stay silent. We refuse to normalize harm. We refuse to turn away from our values.

We stand with immigrants.
We stand with our neighbors.
We stand together.

Come join us, stay safe, and know your rights. And if you or someone you know is afraid to leave the house — even to do something as basic as laundry — please reach via PM. We want to help — with rides, with resources, with support, with community.

This moment calls for action, care, and connection — and we are here for that.

🐘 Fourteen elephants.

That’s about how much laundry was washed over the past two weeks at Adam’s during our free event!

In real numbers: 3,127 loads and 166,930 pounds of clothes — all free. No catch. Just clean laundry, fresh starts, and a whole lot of community.

It was busy, joyful, sometimes chaotic, and honestly a ton of fun. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came in, spread the word, helped each other out, and trusted us with their laundry.

Now we’d love to see you again — soon. If another load is piling up, if you want an easier laundry day, or if you just like the vibe, our doors are open. Clean machines, friendly humans, and a space that actually feels good to be in.

Also, in very important and completely unnecessary data:
Washer #9 and Dryer #28 were the least loved during the free laundry run. If you’re in this week, maybe show them a little extra love. 😉

Yes - Detergent is still included - linen fresh, lavender, or free and clear.

Yes - We are still matching all money you put on our app or a card, $1 for a $1, up to $100.

In our very first week (and the day is not even done yet!), we’ve helped our community wash over 1,000 loads of laundry — that’s more than 54,000 pounds of clothes cleaned and freshened up. 🤯

And we’re not done. You still have another full week to come do your laundry for free!

Through January 4th, all self-serve laundry at Adam’s Washeteria is free — detergent included. No catch. Just clean clothes.
