Jenna holding Rocky, and me holding Athena, in our medieval falconry gear.

When we come to your event, we pour everything into making it everything it needs to be, right down to dressing the part. We are fun and educational. The facts and biology of owls, delivered in an entertaining way. And the history of falconry, a tradition that goes back over 4,000 years.

That dedication is what sets us apart. We are gregarious entertainers and enthusiastic educators, and we bring both to every event.

Book us for your next event. Call 636-633-2313.

The owl does not rush the night. It sits still, keeps its eyes open, and does the work when the time is right. Stay calm, stay ready, and make it happen.

Owls and crows are mortal enemies. During the day, crows harass owls terribly. But when night falls, the tables turn, and the owls become the predators.

Last night Jenna and I started a crow abatement job at a very prominent parking garage in downtown St. Louis, where a huge murder of crows has been defecating all over the place. We brought two of our new young rescues, Moon Dancer and Moon Raider, and they dispersed the crows the natural way. No poisons, no traps. Just the presence of the predator the crows fear most after dark.

First photo: Jenna with Moon Dancer spreading her wings. Second: Jenna and Moon Dancer taking in the AT&T building. Third: me with Moon Raider, the Gateway Arch behind us.

The alligator does not chase the water. It waits, watches, and moves once, with purpose, so hold your ground, respect what can bite, and make your one move count.

Three tortoises, three rescue stories.

Meet Littlefoot, the big one leading the way. Jocelyn, the middle one. And little Dorito, the smallest of the bunch. Each of them came to us with their own unique rescue story, and each of them found a home here.

This photo was taken at the St. Louis Renaissance Festival, in the petting zoo run by Party Paws Mobile Zoo. Two young visitors got down close to watch them, and you can see the wonder on their faces.

That is the part that stays with us. The impression we make on young minds like these will stay with them forever, and maybe, just maybe, it sparks a passion for wildlife conservation that lasts a lifetime.

Meet Moon Dancer, our Eurasian eagle-owl and a recent rescue.

This photo was taken at the St. Louis Renaissance Festival, in the petting zoo run by Party Paws Mobile Zoo. Jenna Heckthorn is holding her, and you can see the bond right there in the picture.

It takes a special person to rescue a special animal and develop a special bond. That bond does not happen in a day. It is built with patience, care, and showing up, until a rescued animal decides to trust you.

That is what rescue is really about.
